I was in coles yesterday afternoon just after 4 pm and I am unimpressed that your senior staff would not approach people who were not wearing masks correctly. I am a registered nurse who is vaccinated but there is a public health order in place about the wearing of face masks. I said something to 3 people whilst I was shopping asking them if they could put their masks on correctly. when I finished shopping I ask your staff who were supervising at the front of the store if they could ask people who were wearing masks incorrectly to do so. he stated he wasn’t allowed. Whilst I understand that your staff are not police they should have the ability to request shoppers to put on properly and if they refuse ask them to leave the store. There is a public health directive stating that facial masks are mandatory you was a store should be asking shoppers to leave. I certainly will not be shopping in your store and putting my health at risk.
