The Guy that runs this place is an absolute F-wit, does not understand customer service or understand when to admit fault, ruined an expensive bag and did not want to take blame, shoppers beware, such a Business should not be trading in a place like Narellan.

Shocking ruined genuine leather bag and refused to do anything about it.

I brought a bag from Harry Hartog and asked the to engrave my partners name on it. We're engaged, it's his 30th and it's our last birthday together unmarried. My partner is that guy who never, never asks for a thing so I wanted to get him something nice. We don't have a lot of money to waste. I'm a teacher, we're building a house and getting married this year. So this was a splurge for me, he deserved it. I actually wanted to get him something better and was sad I couldn't. The lovely ladies at Harry Hartog asked the engraver for me to make sure he could do it and set it up so all I had to do was take the bag there. It seemed easy. But today, when my Mother picked up the bag it was unfinished and scratched. The bag is pure leather and they taped a note to it that left a mark on the leather. When my mum asked them what had happened they said it wasn't their fault, even though the people who worked there saw me walk from Harry Hartog to the store straight away. And the owner? Well he told me it wasn't his problem and that I couldn't prove it wasn't scratched by the people at Harry Hartog. On Friday, after being told I would have to contact the Dept of Fair Trading he simply hung up. So, I think it's a terrible reflection on the centre that this man represents them. I can't believe a man who owns his own business is so delusional that he thinks that kind of business with make him money. Avoid that place like the plague. I couldn't even leave a bag with the man. Who would leave keys to their home?
