Would not buy a sardine from this supposed fish monger if my life depended on it. The prawns I purchased were supposedly fresh , they were slimey tasted like mud and you had a hard time removing the shells.I suggest they had been frozen and then thawed.to ad insult to injury I payed top price .so to save any embarrassment on Christmas Day don’t buy any Crap from these thieves

on 23rd December 2020 I queued up in front of fish feast Narellan( the line started from the vegetable shop next to it ),there we a sign to maximum of 12 people inside the shop and to maintain 1.5m apart. The lady in front of me went in the shop and she left and another shopper came in front of me and was being served .I counted the people inside and it was less than 12 people and I went inside the shop. A sales person called Jimmy(as others were calling him)told me to go back in the queue rudely .I said I'm sorry as there was no clear instructions to be served it would be better if you could add that "someone will serve you" in the notice as well and I don't want to go back to the last in the queue and stood aside for being served .I asked the girl who served me to clean and cut into pieces .She packed it and I enquired if it was cut she said no,she asked Jimmy(reckon it's his name as she addressed) and he refused to cut the fish .I asked for the manager to raise complaint and explained the situation . The person "Jimmy "started shouting and accusing me that I was not in the queue, I was devastated. I am a professional as well and exactly know how to treat a customer .This was really unprofessional from his part and the manager and other employees was trying to pacify him. And the girl gave the bill and I paid it .he was literally shouting at her "did she pay" and then handed out the fish. For their/his kind information ,no customers will stand up in a queue that long for fun and with no cash in their account. The whole experience was so disgraceful and humiliating .It was the first and worst experience I have come across in Australia. They could easily see in CCTV whether I maintained the queue. I would highly recommend the management to provide him with proper customer service training, otherwise the management will lose customers. I am writing this with regret and will never return to this place although this is the only one in the area.
