Roselands Shopping Centre is a large shopping centre located in Roselands, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. It was opened in 1965 and was the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere at the time. Roselands Shopping Centre is situated on Roselands Drive, on the site of the former Roselands Golf Course and previously the site of Belmore House and rose garden. The name Roselands comes from the rose garden that was once there. The shopping centre was developed by Grace Bros and designed by the Sydney-based firm of Whitehead & Payne. It was officially opened on 12 October 1965 by then premier of New South Wales Robert Askin. The centre featured a four-level Grace Bros department store, Coles Variety Store, Coles New World, a cinema known as Roselands Theatre Beautiful and 87 speciality stores. Roselands was also known for having Australia’s first “food court”, known as “Four Corners” themed to represent food from the four corners of the world, a rain-themed water feature (the Raindrop Fountain) and a rose fountain. The centre also featured a rooftop entertainment zone known as The Carnival Top with a bandstand and mini-golf course. A major fire broke out in the Grace Bros store on 13 June 1969, causing extensive damage to the top floor and some lower floors. The store was rebuilt and reopened in 1971.

The centre also has cafes and restaurants such as Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Muffin Break, The Coffee Emporium. Roselands Shopping Centre is open seven days a week. The general opening hours are: Monday - Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Thursday: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Roselands Shopping Centre has multi-level car parks with 3,187 spaces. The car parks are free for customers and have easy access to the centre’s entrances. The car parks also have disabled parking spaces, parents with prams parking spaces, and electric vehicle charging stations.

ALL SERVERS in foodcourt should be wearing MASKS. Neither of the girls serving in BURGER AND CO are wearing a mask. All others are wearing masks, why should they be exempt when serving the public.
