Casuarina Square is the largest shopping centre in the Northern Territory, Australia. It is located in Casuarina, a northern suburb of Darwin, the capital city of the territory. Casuarina Square was built in 1973, a year before Cyclone Tracy devastated Darwin. The shopping centre is built to the building code for tropical cyclones, to withstand such natural disasters. Casuarina Square has undergone four major redevelopments since its opening, the most recent one being in 1998, which added 63 specialty stores and a 7-screen cinema complex. On 1 April 2022, Casuarina Square was bought by Sentinel Property Group for $400 million. Casuarina Square has over 173 stores and services, including two supermarkets (Coles and Woolworths), two discount department stores (Big W and Kmart), a cinema complex (BCC Cinemas), and a variety of fashion, beauty, food, health, entertainment and lifestyle outlets. Casuarina Square has a range of dining options to suit different tastes and budgets. There is a food court with fast food chains such as McDonald’s, KFC, Subway as well as Asian, Indian, Mexican and Turkish cuisines. There are also cafes and restaurants such as Gloria Jean’s, The Coffee Club, Grill’d, Nando’s, and more. Casuarina Square is open every day of the week, the general opening hours are: Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Casuarina Square has over 2,400 parking spaces available for its customers, including undercover parking. Access to the car parks is from Trower Road, Dripstone Road and Bradshaw Terrace. Parking is free for the first three hours on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays. Casuarina Square is accessible by public transport from various parts of Darwin. There are bus stops near the shopping centre on Trower Road and Bradshaw Terrace.

The best access to our car parks is from Trower Road, Dripstone Road and Bradshaw Terrace, but please note that Darwin City Council road rules apply within the Casuarina Square.
