I have found the service here terrible. I have a Telstra Business account and my modem needs replacement. After waiting for an hour for an appointment they provided a loan 4g modem that cannot connect to the business NBN and didn’t have a sim and only takes a micro sim. I drove back on 40 nin round trip and they had no micro sim or any other loan modem. I offered to purchase a modem and put it on my business account. Initially I was told I couldn’t put it on my Telstra business account, but when I realised the staff member was unclear what my Telstra account was, I clarified it for her and she said she still couldn’t do it but she was happy for me to pay $288 cash for the modem. I then said I would put a prepaid mobile on my account, she then said she didn’t have time, even thought the store didn’t close for 30 mins. I told her i was very upset with her lack of effort and she agreed that she could see I wasn’t happy. I said I’m not a bad or rude customer and she agreed. I reminded her this is a business account that needs to be operational in order for me to conduct my business, surely there is something she could do and she said there wasn’t anything i could do except come back at 9 am the next day to put a prepaid phone on my account. I will be making a formal complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman, which will take more time as they will get time to respond and I will still most likely not have any Internet. They say they look after business, but they don’t. This issue goes back five days and is a comedy of errors between Telstra and NBN, but today this store put the icing in the cake. I’m so disappointed and frustrated that no one can help keep business internet up and running and to get any Telstra service we have to go to the telecommunications ombudsman. No stars from me.
