It was developed by Austexx, a company that specialised in outlet shopping centres. In 2016, the centre was sold to Sentinel Property Group, an Australian property investment firm. DFO Cairns has 67 stores, offering a wide range of products and services, such as clothing, footwear, accessories, jewellery, electronics, books, stationery, gifts, health and beauty, pharmacy, travel, banking, postal and lottery. The centre also has a fully appointed food court and a wide range of services including a beauty salon, post office, pharmacy, newsagent and Coles Supermarket. DFO Cairns is open seven days a week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays and Saturdays and from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays. DFO Cairns has over 1 300 free parking spaces for customers and visitors. The parking area is accessible from Mulgrave Road or Aumuller Street. The centre is also well served by public transport, with several bus stops nearby on Mulgrave Road or Aumuller Street.

I have no sense of direction! I always visit DFO Cairns after an appointment. I would very much lie to thank a cleaner with a trolley today for genuine help to find my way out! Lovely Guy and should be promoted.
