Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre is a single level Sub Regional shopping centre located in the heart of the regional city of Mackay, Queensland, Australia. Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre was opened in 1979 as the first shopping centre in Mackay. It was developed by Lendlease, a leading property and infrastructure group. In 2003, the centre underwent a major expansion and renovation, adding more stores, a food court and a car park. In 2016, the centre was sold to Charter Hall Retail REIT, one of Australia’s leading retail property groups. Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre has 72 stores, offering a wide range of products and services, such as clothing, footwear, accessories, jewellery, electronics, books, stationery, gifts, health and beauty, pharmacy, travel, banking, postal and lottery. Some of the popular brands available at the centre are: Best & Less, EB Games, Flight Centre, Millers, Noni B, Telstra. The centre also has several dining options, including cafes, restaurants and takeaway outlets. The centre also has a food court with seating for around 200 people. Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre is open seven days a week, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Wednesday and Friday, Thursday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre has over 1 500 free parking spaces for customers and visitors. The parking area is accessible from Bucasia Road or Phillip Street. The centre is also well served by public transport, with several bus stops nearby on Bucasia Road or Phillip Street.

The undercover and upstairs car park areas have a three-hour parking limit. The Best & Less entry car park has a one-hour express parking limit, to allow customers to park in proximity to the centre if they are visiting to do a quick shop. Disability parking will not have any conditions, and any vehicle displaying a valid disability permit can park in any car park as long as required.
