Browns Ormeau Village Shopping Centre is a new neighbourhood shopping mall located in Ormeau, a suburb of Gold Coast City in Queensland, Australia. It is situated on 37-59 Eggersdorf Road, near the Pacific Motorway and the Ormeau train station. The shopping centre was developed and opened by Coles Group in 2018, with a total investment of $35 million. It features a full-line Coles supermarket and Liquorland, as well as 16 specialty shops and services. In 2020, Coles Group sold the centre to Charter Hall Retail REIT for $34.5 million, as part of its strategy to divest non-core assets. The shopping centre has a total lettable area of 5,000 square metres and a weighted average lease expiry of over eight years. Coles and Liquorland make up almost 70% of the centre’s gross lettable area. The other tenants include a medical centre, a pharmacy, a dental clinic, a barber shop, a nail salon, a variety store, a coffee shop, a bakery, a sushi bar, a pizza shop, a Subway outlet, and an Indian restaurant. The shopping centre offers convenient and diverse dining options for customers. There are several fast food outlets, such as Subway, Sushi Kado. There is also an Indian restaurant that serves authentic Asian cuisine and a bakery that offers fresh bread and pastries.
