Rundle Square is a shopping and entertainment center in the heart of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. It is located at the corner of Pulteney Street and Rundle Mall, where the busiest shopping street in the city is. Rundle Square was recently renovated from the previous Citi Centre Arcade and offers a wide range of shops, restaurants and services for locals and visitors. Rundle Square was built in 1976 as part of the development of Rundle Mall, which was opened a year earlier. Rundle Mall was the first pedestrian mall in Australia and became a symbol of modernization and urbanization of Adelaide. Rundle Square was designed as a multipurpose center with shops, offices, parking and hotel rooms. In 2012, Rundle Square was sold to Precision Group for 73 million dollars and in 2019 it underwent an extensive renovation for 40 million dollars. The renovation included new facades, lighting, flooring, toilets and elevators, as well as a refurbishment of the main supermarket Romeo’s Foodland. Rundle Square is located at the corner of Pulteney Street and Rundle Mall in the center of Adelaide. It is easily accessible by foot, bus, tram or car. The Upark parking lot is opposite the center at the corner of Pulteney and Rundle Street. The center is also close to several cultural and historical landmarks, such as Art Gallery of South Australia, State Library of South Australia, Adelaide Town Hall and Victoria Square.

Restaurants - McDonalds, Boost Juice (a smoothie bar), KFC (a fast food chain), Sushi Hub (a sushi restaurant), Smiley Mocktail Bar (a non-alcoholic drink bar). Opening hours - The center is open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm (except on Friday when it closes at 9 pm), on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Romeo’s Foodland is open from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5:30 pm, on Saturday from 7 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
