History: Topham Mall is a pedestrian mall and arcade located in the western part of Adelaide CBD. The mall was named after Sir Richard Topham, a prominent lawyer and politician who served as the Attorney-General of South Australia from 1933 to 1938. The mall was originally a laneway that connected Waymouth Street and Currie Street, but was converted into a pedestrian mall in 1977. The mall underwent a major upgrade in 2017, with new paving, lighting, landscaping and public art. Mall is home to several street art murals that add colour and vibrancy to the mall. The murals were commissioned by the City of Adelaide and created by local and international artists, such as Vans the Omega, Lisa King, Beastman and Gary Seaman. The mall also hosts various events and activities throughout the year, such as markets, festivals, pop-ups and live music. Topham Mall is situated between Waymouth Street and Currie Street, with access from both streets. The mall is easily accessible by foot, bike or public transport. There are several bus stops and tram stops nearby, as well as UPark Topham Mall car park on Waymouth Street. Topham Mall has a range of stores and services to cater to the needs of the city workers and visitors. The mall has a cafe, a bakery, a barber shop, a beauty salon, a florist, a gift shop, a travel agency, a dry cleaner, a tailor, a shoe repairer and more. The mall has a pizza shop, a sushi bar, a sandwich shop, a salad bar, a juice bar and a coffee shop. Topham Mall is open daily from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday 8:30 am - 9 pm, Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, individual retailer trading hours may vary.
