Just been to this newsagency to put my crosslotto's on for Saturday. $19.60 is the amount I pay each week. Today I went to use tap & go as per state & federal requirements for our own safety from covid 19. The girl said she has to charge me $20 as their store has a policy minimum of $20. What a rip off. Imagine how many people go thru that store. 40c extra that they are pocketing. Of course I refused to pay the extra and then was told I could pay cash. Well I reminded her about safety and pointed out their covid 19 information in plain view. After a while she offered me 40c back in cash. I refused I told her that other newsagents/crosslotto places are not doing what they are. Reminding her of once again the requirements for keeping safe. She said I was going overboard about being careful. I stuck to my opinion & eventually she put thru the transaction on my card for the right amount of money. Just a heads up for others out there. This store is ripping people off. Yes its only 40c or maybe 20c. But they are not allowed to do this. They are not using hand sanitiser between customers. They are accepting cash but no gloves either. I watched this girl serve 5 people before me without taking any precautions what so ever. Beware other customers. Other cross lotto places that I have been to are using tap & go. They are also accepting cash as well,but the difference is they are either using gloves and or hand sanitising after each customer. I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER ENTER THIS NEWSAGENCY AGAIN.
