Last Thursday 30thcof August which happens to be my birthday I was on my lunch break in Frankston. Very hungry I walked to sandwich chefs in Frankston bayside shopping centre in the bottom food court and thought I would try out their scalloped potato. After paying a lengthy $13 for a regular size and a drink I went back to my shop to have my lunch I was looking forward too. After opening the packet I can see that the scalloped potato was very undercooked, and as I tried to eat it, it was like I was eating a flavourless soggy potato in what was considered “cheese sauce” which in reality it was that watered down that it had no flavour whatsoever and it tasted like I was eating soggy potatoes straight from the dishwasher, not even salt and pepper could fix it. After to much of my disappointment as I was so hungry and only had 10minutes to eat I thought I would take back my meal to the shop and swap it for something more flavoursome. After approaching the counter I had to get someone’s attention as they didn’t greet me, I told the Asian woman behind the bay Marie that i could not eat such a flavourless “meal” and if I could please swap it for something of same value. Then the boss (the only male working there) tall older man came over and once again I explained my disappointment, he then very rudely grabbed the bag the potato was in and threw it very angrily into the bin. Now this wouldn’t have phased me but the fact that I had anxiety even approaching the store because they were not friendly but he was very rude and aggressive and didn’t say anything except “I give you refund” I didn’t want a refund I wanted some food because I was starving. He tossed the money in my hand and gave me a very dirty look on his face. Never again will I go to that store and buy food. Not only was it disgusting but the customer service and they way that they all handled customer feedback was appalling. I will be telling everyone i know who works in that shopping centre of the poor experience I had from that Asian man who was working at the front. Very disappointed and angry.
