PLEASE THINK TWICE before you buy a gift voucher from Sweet Beauty Nails if there is any chance at all that it might end up being an unwanted gift. They have a policy of not giving any refunds / exchanges etc for gift vouchers, and they don’t tell you this if you buy one (my mistake was that I missed the fine print - didn’t have my reading glasses on when I bought a $50 voucher. Ouch!) If you go to the shop to request for a refund to be considered due to unforeseen circumstances, as little as one week later (and be assured, it won’t matter how polite, quiet or reasonable you are in explaining that you couldn’t read the small print and the situation and request consideration) they will NOT give you one. The lack of goodwill I experienced was absolutely astonishing. However, the response was clearly fear-driven as they said if they did that for me, “everyone” would be back to get refunds for gift vouchers! I don’t wish to disparage or put down the work they do in any way as I have not tried their services. But good customer service can be given in a number of ways … you can choose to help if it’s within your power, or you can choose not to help – here’s a thought though - a touch of love, kindness and goodwill can also help a business to grow and to thrive?!
