VICIOUSLY ATTACKED BY OWNER AFTER SHE CUT OFF MORE THAN DOUBLE WHAT I ASKED Wednesday 24 of April at 3:15 I took my 15 year old daughter for a 10 cm trim. More than 20 cm of her hair was cut off. My daughter and I were extremely upset and when I was trying to bring up my concerns I was yelled at and belittled. Her hairdresser was Salon Owner Tania, and we all agreed on cutting off 10cm. I left my daughter in what I thought was safe hands and went for a quick stroll in the shopping centre. When I returned I was shocked to find she was missing more than double the length we agreed on- around 25-30cm. l approached her calmly looking for a simple explanation. Tania then aggressively and viciously start yelling at me. Firstly you make us out as lairs by saying you did exactly as we discussed. Secondly told me it was my fault because I left. Yelling to your staff that from now on all mothers have to stay in the salon when a child gets a haircut. Thirdly you went on that it was a mutual decision between you and my daughter....it was not. Fourthly you accuse me of making a scene and “ doing this all the time”. (because I want free stuff I guess was the point you wanted to make.) Fifthly after one of your staff caught your attention to make you stop your verbal attack on us you passive aggressively ignored me while cutting my daughters hair I could see her shaking and her little shoulders hunch over in anguish as she was close to tears, had just lost 3 years of hair growth. I stood frozen. I blame myself for not grabbing her, dragging her away from you. At the till as we were trying to pay and me still lamely trying to make you acknowledge what has happened you refuse payment and again you belittle me telling us you don’t need the money like I was scamming you. This experience has caused me and my daughter deep emotional distress and anguish, as we never thought we would be treated like this by a business employee, and especially not its owner. The entire time I was there, I was calm, never raised my voice and only wanted an explanation. After the way I was attacked and mistreated, I was hoping for an apology or acknowledgement that a mistake had been made but I was just completely dismissed. After the ordeal, I spoke with my daughter and she told me she did not tell Tania to cut it any shorter, that Tania had cut her hair, shown it to her and it was the length we agreed on (10cm). Tania then continued cutting her hair and she was shocked when Tania put her hair in front for her to see again, it was another 15cm shorter. I have emailed the salon to try and resolve the issue and give them another chance to redeem themselves, but did not receive any response.The entire time Tania refused to take any responsibilities for her actions. I can see that you have disregarded all of the negative reviews you have already received by claiming you have CCTV footage and saying you never saw them there or that people are viciously attacking you, which is quite ironic. So before you try to discredit me along with other customers, I would like to see that footage to see where it all went wrong, where all that hair went and so the world can see how you treat your customers. some pictures of before and after on google review
