Went to buy a pair of work shoes with my friend n the service was good. We bought the new balance men's 530 shoes and when we got home 2 other friends like the shoes. I called 2 days later to ask for the same pair but different sizes. I asked a U.K. 3.5 but was not available and was told if I drop into the store they could order it for me. So the next day I called to ask for sizes uk 4.5 &7.5. The lady answered and said that I need to have the model number in order to search for it. I called my friend and asked for the model number and rang back. This time however a different lady answered and asked me to give her the number. I read it out and without her typing in or even double checking the number she abruptly said no, sorry we don't have these. So I called the hay street outlet to find out about the shoes and she after a lot of checking said I don't have these shoes and maybe you could check with Watertown outlet. Told her what happened so she very kindly said she could check for me and did so. Sure enough the Watertown already had the uk 4.5 size I was looking for out of the other two sizes I was looking for. Now I want the shoes but don't feel like picking them up from that outlet cause I don't wish to deal with people who are pure lazy to do their job. SAD!! platypus has good shoes but probably need staff who know a thing or two about customer service and work ethics. This was on 11th June 2017 around 12.30 pm.
